Elena Doyle (our Spanish teacher) helped us to put a project together entitled, Knowing and Understanding Europe Through the Eyes of Children. This project is now well underway. The children are currently working on the second phase of the project. As part two of the Comenius project Mr Wood, Mrs Doyle and a Spanish teacher from Rednock will be representing us in Spain at the end of the Easter term, taking with them all the children's work to share with our link schools.
Understandably, Miss Wheatley's visit to Kenya has had to be put back. Hopefully, she will be travelling out to Kenya with teachers from the Dursley area, later this year. She will be bringing back projects for the children to work on so that their knowledge and understanding of other cultures and countries is extended.
We will bring you news of these projects as they develop.
